Staff at a Cumbrian children’s hospice are celebrating after being given the use of a car by Lloyd MINI to help support children, young adults and families around the county.
The vehicle, a MINI Countryman, will be used by the Outreach Worker and nurses at Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice to provide care, support and activities in the family home and extend the range of services provided by the charity. Clearly decorated with the children’s hospice logo the car will be hitting the roads in the coming weeks.
Natalie Bingham, Corporate Fundraiser from Jigsaw, said “We are incredibly grateful to Lloyd MINI for their generous donation of the MINI Countryman. The car will make a big difference to the Jigsaw team and will assist the care and support we are able to provide for our families in their own home.’’
“While the car is out and about in the community the fantastic branding will remind people about Jigsaw and the care it provides to local families.”
Paul Temple, Brand Manager at Lloyd Carlisle MINI, said “We are delighted to continue our support for Eden Valley Hospice, a local charity which is close to our hearts and has provided invaluable support to so many people in our local area throughout the years.”
Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice provides care, support and activities to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. All of the care and support is extended to the children and young adults families, friends and carers.
